A delegation from the JDC Foundation Pakistan, led by Mr. Samad Abbas, Director, Ms. Merceleen Morris, Communication Executive paid a visit to the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Laboratories Complex Karachi on March 14, 2024.
The JDC delegation also gave a brief presentation on their organization’s commendable social welfare activities.
They highlighted initiatives aimed at improving healthcare, education, and community development, emphasizing their commitment to serving society and making a positive impact on people’s lives. The visit aimed to foster collaboration between the two institutions and explore avenues for joint initiatives in scientific research and development.
During their visit, the JDC delegation had the opportunity to interact with Director P&D, Dr. Razia Sultana, HOC-PRC, Dr. Rashid Ali Khan, HOC-CES, Dr. Nusrat Jalbani, representative to HOC-FMRRC, Dr. Abdul Basit, OIC-ILO, Dr. Akhtar Shareef and other scientists and researchers at PCSIR, engaging in discussions on various scientific projects and innovations.
The visit underscored the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in driving innovation, promoting sustainable development, and addressing societal challenges.
Both PCSIR and the JDC expressed their willingness to explore potential collaboration opportunities aligned with their respective objectives and priorities.
